Weekly Natural Gas Storage

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,083 Bcf, higher by 18 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 19.5% higher than last year and 8.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Mountain West Region is 34.6% higher, and 16.6% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the Pacific Region is 0.4% lower than last year, and 7.5% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is 41.3% higher than last year and 14.6% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 18.3% higher than last year and 10.9% higher than the five-year average.
